Sheila

Rev. Sheila Macgregor, Hons. B.A., M.A., M.Div.
Lead Minister & Minister of Worship and Pastoral Care

Over the past twenty-three years that Sheila has been in pastoral ministry, she has discovered that our greatest resource is our people. The Christian faith is profoundly relational. It is people who bring people to Christ. It is people who embody the Good News and share it in both word and action. A love of stories, combined with a strong faith in the risen, living Christ, has been the cornerstone of her ministry to date. She is excited to be in ministry at Siloam and both she and her family have been impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the congregation and the amazing range of talents and gifts among both staff and congregational members. It is her prayer that you also will find a loving welcome at Siloam and that together "we may be Christ to each other and God's world."

Stan

Rev. Stan McDonald
Minister Emeritus

Stan was given the honorary title, Minister Emeritus, in appreciation for his service in many successful pastorates throughout his ministry and for all the work he has done at Siloam after his retirement.

A Huron County native son, Stan received his theological training at St. Andrew's College, University of Saskatchewan at Saskatoon.  He ministered at churches in Regina, Londesborough, Hensall and Corunna.  In addition, Stan has served as Canadian Chaplain for the Canadian Forester (Fraternal) and as Canadian Chaplain for the Canadian Games for the Physically Challenged.

One of Stan's very favourite quotes is, "The church doesn't need me, but I need the church."  Everyone would agree that the people at Siloam need Stan's warm smile and friendly greeting at the door on Sunday mornings.

Catherine

Rev. Catherine Moore, B.A. (Hon.), M.Div. U of T
Ministry of Visitation and Newcomers

Catherine came to Ministry after a mid-life career change from Marketing Books and Bibles with Oxford University Press in Toronto.

She chose the United Church for its progressive views and is proud to call it both her employer and her spiritual home. The waters of Siloam continue to nourish her, as well as the wonderful relationships shared here.

The focus of Catherine's ministry has been on creating a sense of hospitality and inclusivity. "There is always space for everyone in a congregation that shares God's values with one another."
